The Queensland Transport Museum
The Queensland Transport Museum at the Lockyer Valley Function Centre features a magnificent display of approximately 24 forms of transport of various ages and over 200 models that explore the creations, founders and functions of the Western transport industry. It’s a fascinating educational experience for the young and old alike.
A large display of the History of Western Maranoa Transport is the main feature of the museum, with interactive displays depicting many years of the transport industry. Displays in the museum are changing all the time, as the vehicles on display are on loan from their owners. What you see today could be different to what you’ll see next time. There’s always something new and exciting at the Transport Museum!
